MARIE GENEVIEVE CYR & DYLAN GALLAGHER

About us

my.god.damn.gown: MG & DYLAN are two young professional fashion designers from Montreal looking to develop potential projects in New York City. After graduating from the College Marie-Victorin and the Edinburgh college of Art, MG is graduated from NYU in Visual Culture-Fashion Theory. In 2007, MG was one of the top three finalists on the first TV series of Project Runway Canada. Most recently, Marie Genevieve Cyr was nominated for a Genie Award by the Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television for “Best Costume Design” for "Who is KK Downey?" She is now teaching at Parsons in NYC. After Graduating in Fashion Design from Lasalle College in 2002, Dylan worked aside many Quebec fashion designers, such as Denis Gagnon and Yso at the beginning of his career. Soon after, he became the women’s wear designer for the label Kitchen Orange in Montreal, where he developed 10 collections over a 5 year period that eventually found their place at such retailers as Bloomingdale's.
